About Me
- Paul and Deedra
- We recently returned home with our infant son from Ethiopia. We have been married since December 1997 and also have 3 other children who are now 8, 5, and 4. We felt called to international adoption to open our home and embrace another son, providing an atmosphere of unconditional love in which that child can grow and reach his full potential.

- December 25, 2007 - Received New Referral for Baby A
- November 23, 2007 - Heard court ruling that Baby Z would not be our son
- November 20, 2007 - Court Date
- October 3, 2007 - Received Referral
- June 2007 - Sent Dossier to CHI/D.C./Ethiopia
- May 2007 - Gathered Dossier
- April 9 - Received I-171H
- March 2007 - Submitted Homestudy/Switched to Ethiopia Program with CHI
- Fall 2006 - Finished Homestudy/Waiting on Country
- July 2006 - Began Illinois Homestudy
- Spring 2006 - Decided to begin journey of international adoption

I love seeing the pictures of sweet Ashenafi with his forever family. He is such a beautiful sweet boy.
